Your skin may feel warm or look pink after treatment. Pigmented spots may temporarily darken before gradually fading or flaking.
FIRST 24-48 HOURS
- Use a cool, clean compress for warmth or mild discomfort. Do not apply ice directly to the skin.
- Avoid hot showers on the area, saunas, steam rooms, hot yoga and strenuous exercise.
- Cleanse gently with lukewarm water; avoid rubbing, picking or scratching.
- Apply a simple fragrance-free moisturizer if comfortable.
NEXT 5-7 DAYS
- Avoid retinoids, exfoliating acids (AHA/BHA), scrubs and strong active vitamin C until skin is fully calm.
- Use broad-spectrum SPF 30-50 daily; avoid direct sun and tanning. Reapply sunscreen when outdoors.
- Do not pick at darkened spots or flaking skin.
WHEN TO SEEK HELP
- Contact your treatment provider for unexpected reactions. Seek prompt medical assessment for blisters, severe or increasing pain, significant swelling, or spreading redness.
IMPORTANT: These are general guidelines. Follow your treating professional and device-specific instructions, especially after deeper or combination treatments. If a product causes stinging or irritation, stop using it and contact your provider.
